I had not grown a beard since my 20's when I was outside in the cold framing homes. I thought I would grow a Goatee this past winter since it seems to be a popular thing to have now days. I was going to shave it off on New Years day but Wendy said she kind of liked it so I kept it for another two months. I had Kara take a picture of me the last Sunday of February because we did not have any pictures of it. So any way here it is. Just enough grey to make me look Distinguished, Old or Both.

A funny story
This morning Kent wanted to make some hot chocolate before he headed to McCall. So he goes to the pantry and pulls out a #10 can that we got from the cannery. (They make the best hot cocoa mix!) He mixes it up and says it is really thick for some reason. He got out another mug for me so he could share. I looked at what he was mixing up and he had pulled the Chocolate Pudding can out instead of the hot cocoa mix - ha, ha, ha. So this morning - he had Hot Pudding to drink instead of hot cocoa! Pretty funny!

Thunder Mountain Train Ride
For Christmas, Wayne and Sherstine gave us 2 tickets to ride the Thunder Mountain Train from Horseshoe Bend to Banks. We went early to get some more pics of Rainbow Bridge. We made a day of it. The train ride itself is 2 and 1/2hrs. long. It was a fun day. Thanks Wayne and family! Here are some of the sights of the day.
