Kent/Wendy Family Reunion Day 1

Our whole family (22 of us now) went to the Oregon coast this year for our family reunion.  On the way up we stopped at Multnomah Falls.

Remember Pres. Uchtdorf's talk to the sisters last fall?   This is our theme for our Stake RS conference.  And those forget-me-not balls above are going to be part of the table decor.  (they will actually be tall topiary's for the center pieces.)  I get to help make about 30 more of them.  I will try to remember to take pics of our tables the night of our conference so you can see the final presentation.

Note:  the creative other counselor, got injured by a car while out walking, so she is totally out of commission.  So we are doing our best to fill in for her creativeness.  What do you think?

Easter Round #2

Robert called on thursday at 11am and said they were coming up for the weekend. So we got to celebrate Easter again with some more grandkids - yeah!

We had a busy and eventful weekend.  Wayne and Sherstine welcomed  a new little Bennett into their family.   Since Kent and I had their kids for 2 days and Rebecca would be in Twin for Easter next weekend, we celebrated Easter a week early.

So I was on my way to a job interview this afternoon.  I left 45 mins. early because of the snowy roads.  I just barely made it out of our subdivision and I slid into an 8 foot deep ditch and the car landed on the drivers side.  Luckily I was not hurt.  The back window had broke out, so I climbed out the back and had some help from strangers to get out of the ditch.  Man - makes me wonder if I was meant to go job hunting!

Pumpkin Party

This was our 3rd annual family Pumpkin Party.  Guess who carved this one?  (the dentist in the famiy)
